How much do home based combat photographer jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 17, 2026, the average hourly pay for home based combat photographer in the United States is $20.36, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $15.38 and $21.63 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

Can you build a house for under $200,000?

A home-based combat photographer typically does not have the skills or resources to build a house; construction costs depend on location, size, and materials. Building a house for under $200,000 is possible in some areas with careful planning and cost management, but it generally requires specialized knowledge and permits. For most individuals, hiring contractors and managing budgets are essential to stay within that price range.

What decreases property value the most?

For a home-based combat photographer, factors that decrease property value include neglecting property maintenance, allowing the property to become outdated or damaged, and failing to address environmental hazards. Additionally, a poor neighborhood reputation or high crime rates can significantly reduce property value, which may impact the ability to work from a home in that area.

Do 90% of people own a home?

Home based combat photographers typically work remotely or in the field, so homeownership rates do not directly impact this role. Globally, homeownership varies widely by country and economic factors, but in many regions, a significant portion of the population owns homes. For job seekers, focusing on skills like photography, equipment handling, and field reporting is more relevant than homeownership statistics.

What is the definition of home?

For a home based combat photographer, the term 'home' typically refers to the photographer's primary residence or base of operations. It serves as the location where they live, store equipment, and may coordinate logistics for assignments. The job often involves traveling to various locations, but the home is the central point for planning and communication.

What is the difference between Home Based Combat Photographer vs Freelance Combat Photographer?

AspectHome Based Combat PhotographerFreelance Combat Photographer

Work EnvironmentHome office, remote coordination, occasional travel to conflict zonesVariable locations, client sites, conflict zones, on-demand assignments
Employer/Industry UsageMilitary agencies, government contracts, media outletsMedia outlets, NGOs, independent clients, news agencies

Home Based Combat Photographers typically work remotely, focusing on coordination and planning from home, often with military or government clients. Freelance Combat Photographers operate more independently, traveling to conflict zones and working directly with media or NGOs. Both roles require combat zone training and photography skills, but differ mainly in work setting and employment structure.
