Job description

Areas Served: Lake Ozark, Camdenton, Sunrise Beach, Climax Springs, and surrounding Lake of the Ozarks communities
Average Earnings After Training: Equivalent of $30-$35 per hour
Schedule: Flexible / Part-Time
*Equipment Provided

*Must have reliable transportation

Before we get into the details, here’s the most important thing to know…

We know the job title says “Real Estate Photographer,” but the truth is, we’re not photographers first. We’re customer service reps who happen to hold a camera!

At our core, this role is about how you show up with people. If you’re the type of person who can walk into a home, connect easily, make someone feel comfortable, and represent a brand well, you’re in the right place.

We can absolutely teach you the photography side. What we can’t teach is warmth, professionalism, and great people skills, and that’s what matters most here.

About the Role

We’re hiring a dependable, service-driven team member to join our growing real estate media company in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

This is a team-based, client-facing role, not a freelance or creative-first position. You’ll be following a structured system, representing the brand in the field, and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for every client.

No real estate photography experience required. We provide paid training, company equipment, and a clear, step-by-step process.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being out and about, working independently, and taking care of people.

Pay & Earnings

This role is commission-based after training, allowing photographers to increase their income as they become more experienced and efficient.

Training Pay

  • $15/hour while learning our shooting process and equipment

After Training

  • Photographers typically earn the equivalent of $30-$35 per hour
  • Standard shoots average around $40 per property
  • Higher commissions for larger homes and additional services such as drone photography or video
  • $0.30 per mile mileage reimbursement

Most experienced photographers complete a standard property in 45-60 minutes, allowing strong earning potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to residential properties around the Lake of the Ozarks
  • Photograph homes using our structured shot list
  • Capture interior and exterior photos
  • Represent our company professionally with real estate agents and homeowners
  • Upload photo files after each shoot (no editing required)
  • Ensure homes are photo-ready by straightening small details when needed
  • Learn additional services such as drone photography and video

Schedule & Flexibility

This position offers a lot of flexibility, (similar to an Uber-style schedule!)

You can work:

  • Mornings
  • Afternoons
  • Full days several times per week

Our main requirement is availability more than two days per week.

The more consistent your schedule, the more opportunities you will have to pick up shoots.

Most appointments happen during weekday daytime hours, which we strongly prefer candidates to be available for.

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, professional communicator
  • Reliable transportation and comfort driving locally
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable using basic technology
  • Willing to obtain FAA drone certification (we help you prepare and reimburse the testing fee once passed)

Why This Role is Great

  • Paid training provided
  • Company gear and equipment supplied
  • Flexible schedule
  • Work in beautiful homes around the Lake of the Ozarks
  • Opportunity to learn drone photography and video
  • Supportive and relaxed team environment
  • Strong earning potential as skills improve

About Our Work

Our photographers capture a wide variety of properties across the Lake of the Ozarks, including:

  • Luxury lakefront homes
  • Vacation condos
  • Rural homes and farmhouses
  • Vacant land and development properties

Every day brings a different property and new opportunities to learn.

Because photographers often work independently in client homes, professionalism, trustworthiness, and strong communication are essential.

Apply Today

If you’re dependable, enjoy working independently, and want to build creative skills while earning flexible income, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today to join our real estate media team serving the Lake of the Ozarks area.
