YOU WILL BE:

The Photo & Video Producer manages the daily operational logistics-including budgets-for promotional and all-channel visual collateral strategy for Saks. This role is responsible for producing editorial digital content, including both photo and video, across multiple brands within Saks Global Digital.

The Producer oversees all aspects of production from pre- through post-, including managing the photo and video budgets, and sourcing talent such as models, hair & makeup artists, stylists, photographers, directors, and location scouts to bring each shoot to life. They ensure that selected talent and locations align with the overall feel and seasonal creative direction of the brands.

In addition to photo production, this role manages video content creation-overseeing video shoot logistics, collaborating with creative leads on shot lists and storyboards, and supervising post-production including video editing, motion graphics, and vendor approvals.

The Producer also works closely with the Director of Photo Production and the Photo Art Direction team to identify and secure creative talent, and will partner with outside production companies when needed.

YOU WILL DO:

  • Own, develop, and monitor photo and video production schedules for the department, ensuring timelines are met across all creative deliverables.

  • Strategize and achieve maximum production per shoot to ensure a robust volume of content-including photography and video-for multi-channel usage (e.g., e-comm, editorial, social, and paid media).

  • Negotiate with external suppliers and manage monthly budget sheets to ensure all expenses fall within budgeted allowances. This includes full shoot logistics: talent, directors, location scouts, props, model bookings, and video crews.

  • Identify and maintain relationships with emerging model, photographer, hair/makeup, and video director/editor talent, with an intuitive understanding of the Saks Global brands and their distinct customer bases.

  • Effectively manage assigned projects, including scoping, quoting, cost tracking, and billing, while also processing department invoices and tracking billing requests.

  • Develop presentation material for concept proposals related to photography and video, including talent, locations, and treatments for multi-channel campaigns.

  • For in-house shoots, clearly communicate creative direction-including storyboards and shot lists-with studio teams and build strong working relationships to ensure successful execution.

  • Manage the editorial calendar, aligning with internal campaign and content calendars, ensuring video and photo deliverables are scheduled and delivered on time.

YOU WILL BRING:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in production with publishing or photo agency OR worked in luxury fashion

  • Maintain and manage budget goals for editorial shoots

  • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and In Design

  • Negotiation and budget management skills

  • Strong ability to multi-task/juggle multiple projects simultaneously
