General Summary
Photography Lab Assistants are responsible for assisting the faculty in running the photo lab. Responsibilities may include: organization, opening and closing lab facilities, monitoring studio and lab usage, troubleshooting equipment including but not limited to strobes, cameras, enlargers, printers, and minor computer issues. You will be trained how to trouble shoot printing of images. Minor cleaning responsibilities along with managing the basic organization of the studio and labs, and equipment check out under the guidance of photo faculty as needed.
Specific Position Duties
Familiarity with Mac Computers
Knowledge of adobe software related to photography
Planned, enrolled in, or completion of ARTS 2356, ARTS 2357, and ARTS 2348 or evidence of experience in a photo darkroom and film development, familiarity with manual operation of cameras, and basic post processing of digital imagery
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a Current OC Student; preferred Photography major
