Job description

Part-Time AP Process Automation Tester
Walker, MI (Onsite)
$24–26/hour
20 hours/week (approx. 4 hours/day)


Schedule:
Preferred working window is 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with flexibility after 10 AM. Daily onsite presence is required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage daily bot-generated AP reports (matching status, exceptions, summaries, thresholds)
  • Validate invoice processing, ensuring accurate data extraction and completion
  • Confirm invoices are routed correctly and approvals are completed
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies; provide final validation/sign-off on bot performance
  • Communicate with plant locations via phone/email to resolve issues and ensure timely task completion
  • Test system functionality by creating or modifying transactions and documents
  • Track issues and compile daily summary reports

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Understanding of invoice matching and AP process flow
  • Strong attention to detail and data validation skills
  • Ability to handle repetitive, routine tasks with accuracy
  • Comfortable communicating with cross-functional teams

Preferred:

  • Experience with Plex ERP
  • Background in manufacturing AP
  • Experience with ERP implementations or system testing
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation (including imperfect English)
