Job Summary:
Player 15 Group is the sports and entertainment company behind the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and Valley Suns. They are seeking a highly technical and hands-on Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of their Salesforce ecosystem, transitioning from Microsoft Dynamics and ensuring scalable architecture and best practices.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of our Salesforce platform during and after migration from Dynamics
โ€ข Design scalable, flexible CRM solutions aligned to business needs across ticket sales, partnerships, and operations
โ€ข Act as a hands-on developer - developing flows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and other custom solutions
โ€ข Define and implement Salesforce best practices, governance, and technical standards
โ€ข Architect data flows into and out of Salesforce, partnering with data engineering and external vendors as needed
โ€ข Serve as a key advisor on CRM strategy, helping shape how Salesforce supports long-term business goals
โ€ข Train and mentor analysts and team members on building flows, automations, and scalable processes within Salesforce
โ€ข Own deployment lifecycle, release schedules, and environment management (sandbox, QA, production)
โ€ข Manage relationships with Salesforce-related vendors, consultants, and implementation partners
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, with a strong bias toward hands-on execution
โ€ข Proven ability to design scalable CRM systems from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Experience building and optimizing Salesforce environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and usability
โ€ข Experience in mentoring and enabling non-developers to build within Salesforce (flows, automations, etc.)
โ€ข Ownership mentality - comfortable operating as the primary technical authority for the CRM platform
โ€ข Experience with integrations and data architecture (APIs, ETL tools, data pipelines)
โ€ข Expertise in Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
โ€ข Expertise in Apex development
โ€ข Expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC)
โ€ข Expertise in Salesforce data modeling and security architecture
โ€ข Familiarity with deployment tools and DevOps processes within Salesforce (e.g., CI/CD, version control)
โ€ข 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture and development
โ€ข Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
