Job description

Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,607 to $1,746 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 2x3 Nights on a high-acuity medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting. EPIC electronic medical record experience is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult surgical and trauma patients on a med-surg unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation

- Utilize available unit resources (phlebotomy on unit; nursing support techs; night unit secretary) to optimize patient flow and care delivery
- Maintain adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and patient ratio requirements (approximately 5:1 on this unit)
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific or equivalent) or eligibility to practice as an RN
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical/trauma or high-acuity medical-surgical specialty
- Ability to work night shift and the 2x3 schedule; no RTO requests
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with ED and admitting colleagues
