Field Service EngineerBaltimore, Maryland, United States$ 90,000.00 - 140,000.00 (US Dollar)About the job Field Service EngineerProvider of medical imaging repair and maintenance seeks an experienced Service Engineer to maintain, and repair PET/CT medical imaging devices-MUST HAVE THIS SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE!!!Thrives to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance with equipment and maintain a high quality of customer satisfaction.

Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to PET/CT medical imaging devices backgroundMust be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive, customer environmentsPerform scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications.

Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines.

Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards.

Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipmentSubmitting field service reports timely and according to functional standards.

Communicate with account manager on services being provided.

Manage and Maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.

Supervisory ResponsibilityThere are no supervisory responsibilities for this roleWork EnvironmentThis job operates in the field where the individual will be going to several different sites to and will be around a variety of medical imaging equipment.

Work SchedulePrimarily Monday thru Friday normal business hours occasional evening and weekends.

Physical DemandsThe physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are to talk and to hear. It will also be required by the employee to frequently stand; walk, lift up to 75 Lbs., to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Customer Service Skills. TravelThis position requires frequent and regular travel as needed to service the technical needs of customers. The individual in this position must be willing to travel and drive distances to get to a variety of sites within a 4 hour radius. Some travel and assignments will require flying and overnight stays.

Education and ExperienceMust have formal training and field experience in one of the following that applies PET, CT,High School Diploma or GED RequiredSome College or Degree PreferredRequired Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status US Citizen / Green Card holderMust-Haves Must have Recent Field Service Engineer experience Must have Recent experience in the required modality Must be Factory or formally trained by PHILIPS, GE, or SIEMENS ONLY Must provide trained certificate from any of the OEM (Philips/GE/Siemens) US citizens only Must have an active state license
