Job description

At Sartorius, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers keep essential laboratory equipment operating at peak performance. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll serve as a trusted technical partner, delivering installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair services while building long-term customer relationships throughout the Southeast region.
This is a field-based position covering Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi, with a preference for candidates located in or near Atlanta, GA.

Territory: Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

  • Tie workflow to schedule

  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

  • Produce timely and detailed service reports

  • Document processes

  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems

  • Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols

  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization

  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

  • Build positive relationships with customers

What will convince us

  • Associate's degree or High School Degree/GED with Technical certification

  • 2+ years proven field service experience including experience with the calibration of balances and moisture analyzers

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
