Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton seeks a Knowledge Management /Tech Writer to support to Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, manages enterprise knowledge assets and produces technical documentation including templates, data dictionaries, process documentation, and analytic method guides.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain templates, data dictionaries, and process documentation
  • Document analytic workflows, code, and methodologies
  • Support DASC governance framework documentation
  • Create user guides and training materials
  • Document lessons learned and emerging trends
  • Ensure documentation accessibility across classification levels

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Experience with documentation platforms (Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Understanding of data and analytics concepts
  • Knowledge management experience
  • Ability to translate technical content for various audiences
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
