Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Evaluation Provider | 1099 Independent Contractor

Chrysalis Health is actively seeking Florida-licensed Psychologists (PhD/PsyD) to conduct psychological, forensic, and court-related evaluations for youth referred through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ).

Due to increased referral volume, we have immediate statewide opportunities available, with particularly high demand in several Florida regions. This position is ideal for psychologists who enjoy assessment-focused work, value professional autonomy, and want to make a meaningful impact without the responsibilities of ongoing therapy, treatment planning, or caseload management.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological, forensic, and diagnostic evaluations for youth involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ)

  • Review clinical records, collateral information, legal documentation, and prior assessments

  • Develop diagnostic impressions and clinical recommendations

  • Complete professional, court-ready evaluation reports

  • Collaborate with referral sources as needed to support evaluation outcomes

Flexible Evaluation Locations

Psychologists may conduct evaluations in the setting that best fits their professional practice and schedule, including:

  • A Chrysalis Health office location (available in select Florida counties)

  • Their own private practice office

  • Onsite at Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) facilities

This flexibility allows providers to seamlessly integrate evaluations into their existing practice while creating additional income opportunities without disrupting their current workload.

Compensation

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Florida Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD)

  • Strong assessment, report writing, and documentation skills

  • Ability to complete evaluations and reports within established timeframes
