Job description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field and three (3) years of completed Postdoctoral Fellow research experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position. This position will support research in reproductive pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and computational biology to advance our understanding of drug disposition and therapeutics at the feto-maternal interface and improve outcomes in women's health.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • In vitro and in vivo pharmacology
  • Pharmacokinetics and drug disposition
  • Computational biology and PK modeling
  • Drug transporters and metabolism
  • Manuscript writing and grant support
  • Mentoring and collaboration
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PBPK/PK modeling experience (GastroPlus, PK-Sim, Simcyp)
  • Background in drug transport/metabolism
  • Experience with extracellular vesicles
  • Experience with placental or reproductive tissue models
  • PhD (or MD/PhD) in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, cell/molecular biology, or a related field
  • Strong record of peer-reviewed publication
  • Hands-on experience in in vitro pharmacology (cell culture, qPCR, Western blot, ELISA)
  • Experience in in vivo pharmacology (animal studies, dosing, PK/PD)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and within a team
