Job description

Description
The Biology Instructional Office is seeking a full-time, instructional faculty member (non-tenured) for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position begins on August 16th, 2026 and is renewable on a yearly basis.
Duties include teaching lower division undergraduate courses in the
following areas: genetics and introductory biology. Candidates must be qualified to teach in both areas. Service, committee assignments, curriculum development and other professional development opportunities are available.
All required materials (application, letter of interest, CV, and 3 letters of recommendation) should be received by March 31st, 2026 for full consideration by the search committee.

Qualifications
A PhD in genetics or genomics or biology is required and previous teaching experience is strongly preferred. A full-time teaching load is 3 courses per semester.
Must be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
