Job description

The Psychology Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for in-person adjunct faculty position for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027. The candidate(s) would teach General Psychology at T/Th 2-3:45pm &/or 4-5:45pm This is a part-time non-benefitted position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • 50%
    • Design and delivery course content for credit courses.
  • 45%
    • Prepare lesson plans and course materials.
    • Assess student learning.
    • Assign grades, refer students to support services.
    • Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
  • 5%
    • Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
  • Masters degree or PhD in Psychology given preference
  • Relevant teaching experience in general psychology

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Canvas LIS

Compensation Pay Range:
$800/credit or $840 with terminal degree
