Frasier is seeking a compassionate and skilled Exercise Specialist to join our Wellness Center team. This role focuses on delivering safe, engaging, and resident-centered fitness programming for older adults across a full continuum of care-while building meaningful relationships and supporting overall wellbeing in a vibrant senior living community.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Resident Wellness Support
  • Deliver individualized and group exercise programs designed to support strength, balance, mobility, and overall wellbeing
  • Provide instruction, cueing, and demonstrations to ensure safe and effective movement
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents while promoting confidence and independence
  • Observe resident response to activity and communicate any concerns to the Wellness team

Program Delivery & Group Activities
  • Lead or support group fitness classes and wellness programming
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and spaces to ensure safety and accessibility
  • Adapt programming to meet varying functional levels and health conditions

Collaboration & Documentation
  • Partner with Wellness staff and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care goals
  • Complete basic documentation and wellness tracking accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field required
  • ACSM certification or equivalent preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fitness, wellness, or related field (experience with older adults preferred)
  • Strong understanding of safe exercise practices and functional fitness
  • Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams
