The Opportunity

HKA is seeking an Implementation Consultant to support PMWeb implementations for large construction and infrastructure projects, while also contributing to Business Intelligence (BI) and data initiatives using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

While many HKA service lines focus on disputes, investigations, and advisory work, HKA Tech helps clients improve project delivery through technology, data, reporting, and implementation solutions.

This role is ideal for professionals with implementation, technology consulting, construction technology, or related experience who are ready to take ownership of clientโ€‘facing work. You will help clients improve how they manage projects, data, and reporting while working across PMWeb, business intelligence, and project technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on capital program processes and translate business needs into system solutions.

  • Lead requirements gathering efforts and document business, configuration, reporting, and customization requirements.

  • Configure PMWeb environments and contribute to solution design activities.

  • Deliver and support Business Intelligence initiatives using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and related technologies.

  • Lead stakeholder workshops, user training sessions, and clientโ€‘facing discussions.

  • Manage assigned workstreams, schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Utilize HKA delivery tools and implementation methodologies to support successful project execution.

  • Troubleshoot implementation and configuration issues and coordinate resolution efforts.

  • Collaborate with internal consultants, technical specialists, and leadership teams throughout project delivery.

  • Participate in knowledge sharing, process improvement, and practice development initiatives.

Skills and QualificationsRequired
  • 3+ years of experience in technology consulting, software implementation, construction technology, capital program delivery, or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong understanding of construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project delivery environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client workstreams, priorities, schedules, and deliverables with limited supervision.

  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and creating configuration or training documentation.

  • Strong initiative, judgment, adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and present information to varied audiences.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms and technologies.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.

Preferred
  • Experience with PMWeb or a comparable project/program management platform.

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools.

  • Knowledge of Agile principles and implementation methodologies.

Compensation - HKA offers a range of $90,000 โ€“ $130,000 for this role depending upon qualifications, experience and overall evaluated fit. We also offer eligibility for our full benefits package which includes but is not limited to health/dental/vision insurance 20 days pto + company holidays + wellness days, retirement plan with company match and much more.
