Job description

Pharmacy Operations Administrative Coordinator

Location: 100% work on site

Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Express Scripts by Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Operations Administrative Coordinator. This position partners with leadership across our team to help deliver on our promise to patients by streamlining communications, administrative tasks, and projects in our production departments.

How you'll improve the lives of others:

  • Supporting our operations production and management teams, escalating requests and support needs.
  • Leading projects that support production goals, including working with area teams on projects such as Kan Ban roll outs and inventories.
  • Advocate for internal customers and team members, partnering and promoting engagement at all levels of the team.
  • Work independently on projects for supervisors.
  • You can be asked to work in production to support business needs, including during times of high volume or holidays, becoming a subject matter expert in multiple functions to meet demands as needed, which can be in the Warehouse, Packing, Mail Manifest, Automation, or Bulk and Prep areas.
  • Assist with coaching and administrative duties as needed for supervisors, coordinating across all shifts to maintain efficiency. Scheduling and coordinating meetings using Microsoft Outlook for the leadership team, as needed.
  • Assist in the efficient management of programs to ensure timely response and completion. Examples would be Cigna Standout Recognition, ALPS reporting, New Hire Orientation, Shift cross over, Safety, and Hiring events.
  • Prepare Reports to all Management team members in a timely manner. Working in collaboration with Resource Management Group (RMG) partners.
  • Posting critical, approved communications throughout the pharmacy in all areas of Operations to ensure consistency, including monitoring communications and removing any outdated postings.
  • Posting consistent Overtime Sign up requests in all departments for all shifts as needed, pulling information from the postings for the management team as needed, and may include attending Operations Overtime planning meetings.
  • Assisting in support and administrative tasks and reminders for supervisors, including: shift differential changes, new hire calls, interview support, and shift preference forms.
  • Enter requests as needed for Real Estate, IT, or Supply needs as well as tickets as needed for stuck transactions or other technology team help needs to ensure the correct functioning of the Pharmacy.
  • Collecting records as needed for Training/CTL completion and maintain cross training data for each department, ensuring consistency between the shifts.

Requirements:

  • Must be trained and remain current in eligible Back End Pharmacy production areas
  • Project coordination skills
  • Must exercise good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity
  • Must have excellent written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to keep deadlines straight and prioritize work accordingly
  • Ability to anticipate future needs and act proactively
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, remain focused and execute work with minimal supervision, able to multi-task effectively
  • Experience with Outlook Scheduling, Excel and Word a plus
