Pharmacy Operations Manager

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the department on a daily basis. The Operations Manager assists in overseeing all medication procurement, storage, preparation and dispensing in the health system or organization; ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care, participates in continuous quality improvement activities, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of the organization.

Education: Graduate of a School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD degree. Experience: 3-5 years health system experience. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Current licensure in the State of Alabama, controlled substances permit, parenteral license, preceptor license, BCLS provider
