We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for our Automation department!

Job Summary:

Automation Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for the fulfillment of prescriptions for our patients on a daily basis utilizing Parata ATP2 equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Fill daily/monthly prescriptions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with preparing daily and monthly medication shipments
  • Able to lift 50+ lb. totes of medications
  • Communicate directly with the pharmacist
  • Clean and maintain the Parata ATP2 equipment when necessary to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure that the Parata ATP2 machine has the correct and necessary supply of medication within the dispensing unit to prepare the medications for each facility
  • Proper handling of all equipment
  • Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations

What You Will Bring:

We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a patient-first mindset. Our ideal candidate has:

  • Pharmacy Technician experience (1 year preferred)
  • Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Experience with Parata and/or SynMed technology (Preferred)
  • Moderate computer knowledge (Required)

Shift availability: Must be available for a combination of morning (8:00am–4:30pm) and evening (2:00pm–10:30pm) shifts with rotating weekends required.

Work location: Onsite in Troy, MI
