Job description

Job Title:  Psychiatrist
Location: Osawatomie, KS 66064
Duration: 03 months to long term
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30 pm 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Physician will provide psychiatric, and to some extent, medical services. 
•    Physician will admit, evaluate, treat patients. 
•    Physician will enter required assessment, treatment and discharge planning documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Physician will enter medication orders on the WinPharm pharmacy system. 
•    Physician will actively participate in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment process and discharge planning. 
•    Physician will participate in hospital wide performance improvement activities and other medical staff functions as assigned. 
•    Physician will prepare court reports in collaboration with the treatment team and will attend court hearings as expert witness.
