Position Summary: As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in preparing medications under the guidance of our experienced pharmacists, and perform a variety of essential duties that support our commitment to outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescription Management: Receive, verify, and prepare prescriptions with precision and care.

  • Pharmaceutical Preparations: Mix and prepare medications as per prescriptions.

  • Storage & Security: Ensure proper storage and security of all pharmaceutical products.

  • Patient Interaction: Establish and maintain patient profiles, answer telephones, and assist patients with their inquiries.

  • Inventory Control: Manage incoming drug supplies, verify invoices, and monitor medication inventories to ensure stock levels are maintained.

  • Pharmacy Support: Assist in pricing, filing prescriptions, and keeping the pharmacy well-organized and clean.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree, vocational school certificate, or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

  • Experience: At least two (2) years of recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a must.
