AM Shift - 6 AM - 2 PM

As a medication aide, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social-recreational activities. You will report to the wellness director.You Will:
  • Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs
  • Maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines.
  • Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as indicated to assure medications are received promptly
  • Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
  • Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
  • Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
You Currently:
  • Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
  • Can obtain CPR/BLS certification
  • Compose reports in English.
