About the Opportunity

Technical & Engineering Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to support a major capital project at Carolina, PR. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Learning & Development, GMP training compliance, onboarding, and project coordination within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring project personnel are properly trained, qualified, and compliant with all applicable training and onboarding requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project training plans for all project roles.
  • Identify applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP requirements, and required training curricula.
  • Develop and maintain training matrices to ensure personnel complete all required qualifications before performing assigned work.
  • Coordinate with Site Learning & Development personnel to establish and maintain individual learning plans.
  • Monitor training compliance and perform periodic audits to identify qualification gaps.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for multiple project teams and disciplines.
  • Support the onboarding of project personnel, including:
    • Learning plan compliance
    • Contractor Safety requirements
    • Beeline registration
    • Site access
    • Electronic device approvals
    • Other onboarding requirements
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with cGMP and company procedures.
  • Prepare reports and provide updates regarding training completion and compliance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q), Quality Assurance, and other project stakeholders to ensure training readiness.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience developing training plans and training matrices in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • GMP regulations
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience coordinating onboarding and training activities for project personnel.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) projects.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Veeva Vault, Beeline, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience preparing training compliance reports and dashboards.
  • Experience coordinating with Engineering, Construction, QA, Validation, and Project Management teams.
