Job Description
The Quality Inspector, which will be reporting to the Quality Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring quality control for all Rotork product and services.
  • Conduct inspection of goods inward components and materials in a timely manner.
  • Conduct internal roving inspection
  • Raise rejections notices on suppliers.
  • Convert internal rejections into supplier returns.
  • Operate and maintain the internal calibration system

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
  • Working in an appropriate and safe manner, maintaining compliance with local health and safety procedures.
  • To carry out goods inwards inspection of all bought in parts in accordance with company procedures, using as reference engineering drawings, purchase orders, or other associated specifications, either national or international.
  • Perform roving inspection
  • Perform factory support inspection
  • Conduct review of documentation supplied with delivered against the appropriate internal or external specification.
  • Conduct normal activities associated with the functional needs of a quality department, at the request of supervision.

Qualifications
  • Read engineering drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of physical measurement techniques
  • Calibration experience
  • Basic understanding of machining processes
