Job description

Quality Assurance Inspector Packaging 2nd Shift

AAA Pharmaceutical is a manufacturer of Over-the-Counter pharmaceuticals.

Quality Inspector - Packaging

The role of the Quality Inspector is to ensure orders are packaged according to customer requirements, company procedures/requirements, and in accordance with GMP. The selected candidate will be trained as QA Inspector, verifying the startup, progression and closeout of lots on pharmaceutical packaging lines. They are responsible for verifying correct materials are on the line, verifying equipment which monitors product is working properly, ensuring instructions are followed, and documentation completed properly. They work productively with other QA inspectors and QA supervisor, line leaders, the production manager, and other line employees. They contribute to completing work according to schedule, safely and efficiently.

Immediate, Full-time, Monday thru Friday, Occasional Overtime

2nd Shift 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Qualifications/ Skills/ Abilities/Strengths:

Prior experience in Quality Assurance or GMP environment preferred

We can train those with attention to detail, a desire for ensuring a quality product, and can switch between tasks efficiently.

Ability to perform basic math, English reading and writing, Basic computer skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, with individuals and groups, verbally and in writing.

Good judgment and the ability to make a quality decision if need be.

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

Requirements:

Ability to lift minimum 30 pounds, Fast Paced, On feet throughout shift
