Advertising Project Manager


The Project Manager leads advertising projects and business process initiatives from concept through completion. This role coordinates planning, scheduling, production oversight, stakeholder communication, and project execution to ensure advertising campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives. The Project Manager facilitates collaboration among creative teams, marketing strategists, and clients while maintaining quality standards, resolving project challenges, and supporting efficient workflow management throughout the project lifecycle.


Lead Campaign Planning and Project Development

Develop comprehensive project plans by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Work with marketing to conceptualize strategies that align with client goals and orchestrate the detailed planning of multiple concurrent advertising campaigns. Create projects in Workfront for the creative teams to track their progress during production and post-production.

Coordinate Production Scheduling and Resource Planning

Establish and manage production schedules for multiple concurrent projects in partnership with creative supervisors, project managers, and production teams. Evaluate workload distribution, project priorities, resource availability, and production capacity to create realistic timelines that support quality deliverables and operational efficiency. Review production reports and scheduling data regularly, adjusting timelines and priorities as project demands change.

Monitor Project Progress and Ensure Quality Delivery

Oversee project execution from initiation through completion to ensure deliverables meet established quality standards, budget expectations, and approved timelines. Identify potential obstacles, resource constraints, scheduling conflicts, and project risks before they impact outcomes. Implement corrective actions, facilitate problem resolution, and maintain project momentum through proactive management, effective coordination, and continuous monitoring of project performance.

Facilitate Client and Team Communication

Serve as the primary point of coordination among clients, creative teams, marketing strategists, and project stakeholders. Maintain consistent communication regarding project status, priorities, expectations, feedback, and deliverables. Conduct project meetings, provide progress updates, gather stakeholder input, communicate changes in scope or direction, and foster collaborative relationships that support successful project completion and client satisfaction.
