Job description

TheUS/ Global ManagingPartnerserves asa seniorstrategic and operational leader for key client relationships within IQVIA's Large Pharma segment. This role blends sales leadership with account governance, ensuring exceptional client engagement, delivery performance, and sustainable partnership growth.The US / GlobalManaging Partnerwill work across sales, delivery, and executive functions to manage account strategy, orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurableaccount growth.This role will be dedicated to one or multiple large pharma accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Account Strategy & Growth

  • Lead account planning, pipeline development, and revenue growth initiatives across the IQVIA portfolio.
  • Partner with solution sales andsubject matter expertsto design, position, and pitch tailored solutions that address complex client challenges.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies, expanding IQVIA's footprint through new and existing offerings.
  • Monitoraccount health, financial performance, and client satisfactionto ensure sustained growth and profitability.

Client Relationship & Governance

  • Build and manage executive-level relationships acrosstheclient organization, serving as the trusted advisorfor the account.
  • Act as the overall owner of theaccountrelationship, ensuring alignment between sales, delivery, and strategicobjectives.
  • Lead quarterly business reviewsand executive touchpoints to assess account performance and plan strategies.
  • Translate client needs and feedback into actionable initiatives across IQVIA teams, driving continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Solution Sales, Delivery, and Operations to ensure cohesive account execution.
  • Align with the Key Account Manager, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to support contracting, negotiation, and governance requirements.
  • Champion a "One IQVIA" approach,ensuring all business units work collaboratively to deliver integrated value.
  • Maintain visibility into delivery progress and key milestones to ensure overall accountobjectivesarebeing met.
  • Partner with delivery leaders and SMEs to stay informed on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between delivery and client stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Support resolution of escalations by coordinating the right teams and ensuringa timely, client-centric response.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison, ensuring delivery outcomes align with client expectations and IQVIA's broader partnership goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelorsdegree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in strategic account management,sales, or consultingwithin the life sciences or healthcare consulting industry.Understanding ofthe functions and goals of a broad set of commercial and medical roleswithin the pharmaceutical industryis stronglypreferred.
  • Strongtrack recordin salesanddriving sustained revenue growthat large global pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Proven ability to build andmaintaintrusted relationships withC-Suite levelstakeholders,demonstratingstrong presence, credibility, and clear, strategic communication.
  • Proven success in managing large, complex accounts in a matrixed global organization.
  • Experience driving both commercial growth and delivery excellence.
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage through influence.
  • Deep understanding of pharma market dynamics, commercialization, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • 25% - 50% Travel requirements

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $125,300.00 - $349,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
