This is an exciting time for Tris as we grow our sales force in support of our expanding ADHD portfolio. Our National Sales force is made up of field-based representatives throughout the US serving as a direct link between the company and health care providers (HCPs) and clients We have a unique opportunity available for an Associate Sales Representative in our Houston territory.
Under direct supervision and training from the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and/or other appropriate senior Sales colleagues you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced sales team promoting Tris Pharma's portfolio of ADHD medications. You will learn to support market development efforts in pediatric and adult settings, while gaining real-world experience in pharmaceutical sales. This is a training ground to develop high performing sales skills for future full-line sales positions at Tris Pharma.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, processes and compliance guidelines and ensures knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements to appropriately respond to sales inquires, disseminate scientific information and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs)
• Conducts office visits to establish, develop and maintain successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned geographical territory; Increases awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs to medical professionals
• Collaborates closely with RSM to establish/execute a specific and integrated action plan for assigned region in order to achieve defined territory and sales goals; Clearly understands and implements sales and marketing strategies/plans to obtain sales objectives for assigned products; Assists in market development efforts and identifying new prescriber opportunities
• Supports product promotion activities for company portfolio of branded products and delivers approved messaging and materials with professionalism, accuracy and compliance; Documents all field activity in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and manages territory metrics, as required; Attends team meetings, training sessions, and ride-alongs for ongoing development
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree or higher education
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare or business development with self-motivated/competitive spirit and eagerness to learn
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
  • Valid US drivers license and clean driving record
  • Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate to specific sales area after completing the training program

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS PREFERRED
• Prior work experience or internships in Business to Business (B2B) sales, recruiting or other customer-facing support service
• Prior experience in a leadership or leadership development-based role (i.e., industry, collegiate, athletic, military, etc.)
• Prior experience in a sales or management development program
This is a field-based position requiring 100% travel.
Anticipated salary range: $ 55,000 to $ 75,000/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate's education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
