What you will do
The PGIM Direct Lending Fund Operations team is seeking an Analyst to join the Direct Lending product.
The Direct Lending strategy within PGIM is responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of privately placed leveraged loans for middle market issuers ($10-100 million of EBITDA). The strategy spans multiple fund structures-including limited partnerships, SEC registered funds, parallel funds, separately managed accounts, and structured vehicles such as CLOs-and continues to evolve in response to growing transaction flow and investor demand.
The Fund Operations Analyst will play a high-impact role supporting the execution and ongoing oversight of complex fund structures. The role spans financial, performance, and investor reporting, while also contributing to the operational readiness of new investment vehicles. This position offers broad exposure to fund operations and product development, with close collaboration across investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams in Chicago, Newark, and Ireland.
What you can expect
  • Prepare financial statements and performance returns for Direct Lending investors, including intricate incentive fee and management fee calculations
  • Assist in the preparation and review of investor communications, including capital activity calculations and quarterly reporting
  • Maintain accurate performance metrics that will be presented to PGIM leadership for regular reporting and analysis updates
  • Proactively organize, manage, and settle the funds' expense invoices
  • Effectively manage monthly deliverables across various internal and external teams
  • Proactively manage and complete ad hoc initiatives and projects
  • Support Investor Relations during fundraising and new product exploration
  • Communicate with investment companies, fund managers, service providers, and investors
  • Join a global operations team by working with staff located in Chicago, Newark, and Ireland

What you will bring
  • 2+ years of accounting, audit, tax, fund administration, or operations experience in financial services
  • Proven experience with financial statement preparation and accounting guidelines
  • Previous exposure with Wall Street Office or Investran is a plus
  • Previous exposure with Direct Lending and private credit funds is a plus
  • Strong presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills with exposure to all levels of management
  • Superior analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail are crucial
  • Energetic person who brings positivity, geniality and optimism to work
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience required

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $90,000 to $105,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
