Myles Davis Protective Services – Shopping Center Patrol (PG County, MD)

Are you a dedicated security professional who takes pride in protecting people and property? Myles Davis Protective Services is seeking experienced Armed Protective Services Officers to serve our Prince George’s County Shopping Center locations.

Position Details
  • Location: PG County, MD
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Pay: $27.00 per hour
  • Availability Requirement: MUST be available on weekends
Multiple Shifts Available:
  • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 12:30 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM


About the Role

As an Armed Shopping Center Patrol Officer, you will provide a highly visible and professional security presence while conducting foot and vehicle patrols throughout assigned retail properties. Officers are expected to deter criminal activity, observe and report incidents, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine patrols of shopping center property
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations
  • Provide a visible armed presence to deter criminal activity
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
  • Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports
  • Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing property rules
  • Communicate effectively with management and law enforcement when necessary


Minimum Qualifications (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of security or protective services experience
  • Must reside in PG County, MD
  • Valid Maryland Guard Card
  • Valid Maryland Handgun Permit (Wear & Carry Permit)
  • Strong observational and decision-making skills
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability
