Job description

Join Vetcove and help modernize the future of veterinary software and the pet parent healthcare experience. Our suite of platforms features a market-leading procurement marketplace, an ultra-modern home delivery ecommerce experience, and a next-generation practice management system. More than 25,000 hospitals across all 50 states rely on Vetcove daily, supporting tens of thousands of veterinarians who care for tens of millions of pets each year.

We are modernizing the 50 billion dollar plus animal health industry by giving veterinary organizations the tools to focus more on patient care. Backed by Y Combinator and top venture investors in Silicon Valley, New York and Miami, Vetcove is a fast-growing, mission-driven company. We are searching for talented and passionate people who want to help shape the future of veterinary care.

About the Position

As a Senior Product Manager at Vetcove, you’ll be at the heart of enhancing and scaling the platforms that power veterinary clinics and their pet parents. You will own high-impact product initiatives end-to-end, from defining strategy and roadmap to execution and post-launch optimization. You will drive cross-functional alignment, lead complex initiatives, and proactively identify opportunities to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and long-term platform scalability. You will monitor product performance and feedback, oversee robust quality assurance processes, and remove roadblocks that impact customer growth and retention. You will work closely with internal team members including account managers, onboarding associates, engineering, data, design, and support. You will also build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including veterinary clinics and pet parents. You will play a critical role in defining product vision, evaluating tradeoffs, and assessing strengths, opportunities, and risks associated with software products and services.

Ensure High-Quality Delivery: Lead comprehensive QA processes, define acceptance criteria, and uphold a high bar for user experience and product reliability.

Mentor & Influence: Provide guidance to junior product managers and influence stakeholders across departments to foster strong product thinking throughout the organization.

Drive Go-to-Market & Enablement: Partner with internal teams to ensure successful launches, create training materials, and support feature adoption across customers and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking ForExperience:

A four-year college degree and 5+ years of progressive product management experience, including ownership of complex product areas and demonstrated success delivering strategic, cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business impact in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

Skills:

Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, manage multi-quarter roadmaps, lead discovery and experimentation efforts, and partner closely with engineering and design to ship scalable, high-quality solutions.

Strategic Thinker:

Strong track record of setting long-term product vision, balancing short-term wins with long-term platform investments, and making principled tradeoffs aligned with company objectives.

Data-Driven Decision Maker:

Advanced analytical capabilities with experience defining KPIs, building business cases, leveraging experimentation frameworks, and using data analytics tools to inform prioritization and measure success.

Execution Excellence:

Extensive experience writing detailed product requirement documents, leading sprint planning and backlog grooming, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering complex launches with operational rigor.
