Job Description Summary:This position is responsible for supporting a wide range of new product development processes, from initial ideation through market research, design coordination, manufacturing, and product launch. This role focuses on small appliances (e.g., beauty tools, grooming devices, and pet appliances).Job Description:

The Product Associate is responsible for contributing to the product lifecycle, from market research and data analysis to supporting product development processes. This role involves tasks such as coordinating with vendors for materials and samples, contributing to team meetings, and presenting research findings. Strong understanding of market research methodologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Brainstorm ideas to develop new products.
Review POS data, and sales analysis to have a good grasp of market needs.
Market research to understand/read current trends.
Design sketches for new products, and obtain similar samples to begin sourcing.
Get quotations and samples from vendors. Check quality and cost. Compare if we have reasonable COG.
Create newly launching items' plan.
Brainstorm concepts and share them with the design team.
Constantly communicate with vendors to ensure the project gets going and production quality. Check the initial production schedule, ETA/ETD.
Constantly communicate with other departments to inform any changes, issue PO, approve new items, and promote the items with good strategy.
Search for new qualified vendors. If a new vendor is found, submit a new vendor request and perform a new vendor audit.
Discuss and survey the product with consumers through vendors.
Surveys could be done on many criteria, such as colors and functions of products.
Complete system setup (SAP).

The anticipated compensation range is

19.25 - 36.55 USD Hourly
