Job description

Technician – Opening (21yrs or older)

We are looking to hire a Pest Control Technician, for our fast growing company. We are based in the Tucson area. This position is FULL-TIME.

Technicians sell and service commercial and residential accounts. Workdays are Monday through Friday and alternating (every other) Saturdays. Technicians must have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, time management skills, and ability to maintain clear, concise and accurate records, and have a team-oriented attitude. *Must become state certified in pest control by the AZ Department of Agriculture, Pest Management Division, within 90 days of employment. Termite certification obtained at a later date determined by supervisor. Technicians are required to fulfill Continuing Education requirements throughout the year to keep updated on current trends and chemical usage. All employees are subject to a drug test, they must not have a criminal record (felony or DUI convictions), or have an unacceptable driving record over the past five years. Technicians are responsible for maintaining amp; cleaning their vehicles daily and appear well groomed and in proper uniforms during all working hours.

Technicians are required to sell services and maintain a working pool of prospective new customers.

Starting Compensation will be paid hourly at the rate of $ 15.50/hour plus O/T during training. Performance Pay Scale paid after training. ($22-$25/Hr) Details @ time of interview.

Must have:

+ Desire to serve others.

+ Age 21 (minimum)

+High Attention to Detail

+ Ability to regularly lift/carry 50lbs (backpack).

+ Clean MVD driving record 5 years minimum, NO DUIs

+ Ability to sell/upsell accounts

+ Ability to work Saturdays and some, occasional, holidays

+ Ability to work long, flexible hours

+ CLEAN CUT Grooming and MAINTAIN a PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE

+ Clean background

+ Good, time management skills

*AZ-DoA, PMD license (Certification) a plus but not required to start. (WE WILL TRAIN)
