Job description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a passionate Associate Math Curriculum Designer to join our Print & Instruction team. In this role, you will help with the creation of high-quality graphic design for Takeoff by IXL, coordinating graphic design work and reviewing for visual style and overall effectiveness. Your problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail and visual eye, commitment to quality, and understanding of student experience will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students.

This position requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Coordinate the creation of high quality print student materials for Takeoff by IXL
  • Review print designs for accuracy, visual appeal, potential student pain points, and overall effectiveness
  • Propose creative solutions to help solve design challenges
  • Manage the schedule and assignments for our team of graphic designers
  • Collaborate with other curriculum designers to ensure high quality content
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience teaching or tutoring elementary, middle and/or high school students; classroom teaching experience required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus
