Job Summary:
IXL Learning is a leading EdTech company developing personalized learning products used by millions. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help enhance existing educational products and build new innovative solutions, working collaboratively with a talented team of engineers.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base
โ€ข Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products
โ€ข Drive the development process for your team, including design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
โ€ข Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations
โ€ข Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 6+ years of experience in software engineering
โ€ข Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
โ€ข Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
โ€ข Strong communication skills
