What You'll Do!

As a Retail Personal Service Provider, you will be the face of our dispensary, providing an exceptional customer experience while helping patients and customers select the right cannabis products for their needs. You'll work directly with patients to answer their questions, recommend products, and ensure compliance with all state regulations. Your role is key to creating a welcoming, informative, and professional environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete Compliant Customer/Patient transactions
  • Assist or escalate disgruntled customers/patients to Manager on Duty
  • Take out trash and assist in keeping the sales fl oor clean
  • Confirm cash register begins and ends at $200
  • Confirm accurate cash drops
  • Parking Lot Sweeps
  • Build online orders (when there is downtime)
  • Research current products
  • Clean glass fixtures
  • Assist in Greeter position duties when needed
  • Access patient records with confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older (as required by state law).
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in retail or a cannabis-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects (or a strong willingness to learn).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of customers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check (as required by state law).
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and register transactions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for Long Periods: Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (e.g., restocking inventory, moving product boxes).
  • Bending and Reaching: Must be able to bend, squat, and reach to access products from low and high shelves.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle products, cash, and operate the POS system with precision.
  • Walking: Must be able to move throughout the dispensary to assist customers and maintain the store's appearance.
  • Clear Vision and Hearing: Must be able to clearly see product details, labels, and transaction information, as well as hear customer questions and concerns in a busy retail environment.
  • Endurance: Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, especially during busy hours, and maintain focus throughout shifts.
