Job Description
Experienced full-time /Paralegal/Legal Assistant needed for a fast-paced, high-volume, Plaintiff's injury litigation firm located in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Responsibilities will include organizing case files, database entry, processing medical records requests, organizing and reviewing medical records, assisting with the preparation of Personal Injury Protection and Med Pay applications, communicating with clients, and preparing correspondence to clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree or administrative/legal assistant experience with client interaction and relationship management, and automobile and health insurance. Ideal candidates should also be organized, have strong attention to detail, and possess superior communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be comfortable in general with new and emerging technologies, and be capable of working as a member of the team in an office environment. Experience with Mycase case management software is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time are offered.
