Internal Medicine or Sports Med Physician

The compensation range for this position is $225-300k per year commensurate with experience plus bonus.

Scheduled:

2 days in Delaware and 1-2 days in Elkton, MD. (Mon-Friday schedule!)

Job Duties
  • Oversee the patientโ€™s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
  • Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
  • Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
  • Uphold the companyโ€™s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the companyโ€™s ESG goals
  • Other duties as assigned
  • MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
  • BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or Neurology
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • DEA license
  • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and coโ€‘workers
  • Tact and skill in patient management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor and supervise staffExcellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Medicine โ€“ Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive healthโ€‘care measures
  • Customer and Personal Service โ€“ Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
  • customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
