Job description

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys in personal injury matters, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and professionalism. In this role, you will assist attorneys through all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, medical records review, drafting pleadings and discovery, coordinating treatment documentation, communicating with clients, and preparing cases for settlement or trial. Successful candidates must be proactive, highly organized, and capable of working efficiently under pressure while providing compassionate client service. This position plays a critical role in supporting our attorneys and advocating for clients during challenging and often life-changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses

• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and medical providers

• Assist with case strategy, damages development, and settlement negotiations

• Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, and support staff on active litigation matters

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiff's personal injury experience strongly preferred

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice

• Ability to independently manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities

• Trial experience is a plus
