Title: Personal Injury Case Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, California

Work Model: On-site for the first 90 days; hybrid thereafter

A distinguished, high-growth plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join its pre-litigation team. The organization is known for high standards, collaborative execution, and client advocacy across complex injury matters.


Position Summary

The Personal Injury Case Manager will own a high-volume pre-litigation caseload and guide clients from early case development through demand readiness. This role requires strong medical knowledge, consistent client communication, disciplined treatment coordination, and sound judgment across wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic matters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a large portfolio of personal injury pre-litigation matters.
  • Maintain frequent client communication, provide case updates, and explain treatment expectations and next steps.
  • Review medical records to identify injuries, treatment gaps, case value considerations, and appropriate case-development actions.
  • Coordinate medical treatment, including surgery, injections, infusions, specialist care, and related provider activity.
  • Help clients navigate medical providers, procedures, documentation, and case requirements.
  • Track deadlines, records, bills, liens, insurance information, and other case-development details.
  • Prepare organized, complete files for transfer to the demand-writing team.
  • Escalate treatment, liability, coverage, client-service, or case-value concerns before they affect outcomes.


Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of personal injury case-management experience, including substantial pre-litigation ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume personal injury caseload while maintaining client responsiveness and documentation quality.
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, records, treatment plans, surgeries, injections, infusions, and major orthopedic care.
  • Experience serving as a liaison among clients, medical providers, attorneys, insurers, and internal case teams.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, judgment, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Litify or Salesforce.
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Experience developing wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, or major orthopedic cases.
  • Experience preparing complete pre-litigation files for demand drafting and settlement evaluation.
