Job description

As Director of Product Development at Epicor, you will be responsible for leading the development, operation, and governance of our data plane that powers next-generation capabilities like Prism and our headless ERP strategy. You will play a critical role in transforming how data is discovered, governed, and streamed across systems to enable intelligent, AI-driven insights for our customers.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead and own the end-to-end data plane strategy, including data registration, discovery, publishing, and conversion processes
  • Oversee the development and operation of scalable data pipelines and event-driven architectures across multiple ERP platforms
  • Drive the integration of enterprise data into Prism to enable AI-driven insights and intelligent automation
  • Manage and scale global teams responsible for data products and governance initiatives
  • Partner closely with product, security, and compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant data movement and usage
  • Establish and operationalize data governance frameworks, including data lineage, classification, and controls
  • Enable seamless internal and external data integrations across cloud and enterprise systems

  • Deep expertise in Kafka and event streaming architectures, including building and scaling data pipelines
  • Strong experience in data governance, including data discovery, publishing, and data conversion processes
  • Proven track record leading large-scale data platform or data engineering initiatives

  • Ability to lead distributed teams and drive execution across complex, global environments
