At The Fertility Center of Oregon we know that the path to growing a family doesn't always look the way people imagined. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) who brings clinical skill, compassion, organization, and just the right amount of personality to our fertility care team. You'll be part of a team supporting patients through an incredibly important-and sometimes emotional-chapter of their lives.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at either our Fertility Center location in Eugene, OR. The position has an expectation of 40hrs per week and we are proud to offer a great benefits package. Our Medical Assistant (non-certified) pay range is $19.80 - $23.86 and a Certified Medical Assistant is $21.83 - 26.31.
What will you do:
  • Prepares patient for examinations, procedures, and treatments by obtaining vital signs; obtaining, evaluating, and recording patient history; and updating medication and immunization records.
  • Prepares and maintains examination and treatment areas, ensuring adequate inventories of supplies and equipment to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Assists with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare and administer injections and immunizations as directed by physician/provider.
  • Receives, organizes, prioritizes, stores, and maintains transmittable information utilizing electronic technology.
  • Collects and process specimens, screen and follow up on test results. Performs CLIA-waived tests.
  • Performs instrument sterilization.
  • Assists with maintaining medical supplies and onsite inventory.
  • Maintains and updates patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Requirements
What do you need to bring to the role:
  • Education/Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical support experience with experience in obtaining accurate patient vitals, medical injections, and assisting with procedures/NSTs OR a Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required.
