Warren County Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team as a full-time remote therapist. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms by analyzing their frequency, intensity, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Work in a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate actively in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigmas and striving to meet their individual needs.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clientele represents a broad spectrum of backgrounds including single parents, LGBTQ+ individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people navigating complex emotional landscapes and assist them in achieving stability and growth.

• Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to build a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Exhibit empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and challenges in their lives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage workload effectively and ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Experience in working specifically with mood disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.
• Previous experience in a community health clinic setting or similar environment.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
