Work Environment

This remote position utilizes telehealth technology, providing flexibility while ensuring that therapists can maintain a meaningful connection with clients from the comfort of their homes. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate secure video sessions. You will collaborate with a supportive team remotely, engaging in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Warren County Family Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs, goals, and preferences, employing evidence-based approaches.
• Implementing treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting as needed to benefit each client.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
• Regularly monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for your clients.
• Staying updated on the latest research and treatment strategies for mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic efficacy.
• Maintaining compliance with legal and ethical guidelines by ensuring accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
• Actively participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to improve personal and collective practice.
• Advocating for clients’ mental health needs and championing efforts to reduce stigma around mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients who are managing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also work with diverse groups, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your empathy and holistic approach will be essential in providing a safe space for clients to attend to their mental health needs and achieve recovery.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is essential for qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic environment for clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude to effectively support clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle a diverse caseload and related administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with clients who deal with mood disorders, particularly in a remote setting, is preferred but not mandatory. Previous work with marginalized communities or in crisis intervention roles will be considered advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Warren County Family Therapy offers an attractive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
