We're seeking a reliable, part-time administrative support person to handle in-person and office-based tasks, including permit drop-offs/pickups and light administrative duties.

This role is intentionally part-time and flexible. It's best for someone organized, responsive, and comfortable handling paperwork, scanning documents, and running occasional errands that support active projects.

  • Permit & city submissions: drop off/pick up permits and related documents (architectural review, utility applications, etc.)
  • Document handling: scan, upload, and organize paperwork (permits, invoices, project docs) into our digital filing system
  • Mail & invoice support: receive mail, identify invoices/documents, and route them to the right person/process (scan and email/upload as needed)
  • Admin support: help with filing, data entry, and task follow-up as assigned
  • Occasional errands: run local project-related errands as needed (sporadic, not daily)

Qualifications

  • Local to the Madison/Middleton area with reliable transportation

  • Able to handle paperwork accurately and keep files organized
  • Basic computer skills (email, scanning, Google Drive/Dropbox-style filing)
  • Construction or office admin experience is a plus, but not required
  • Professional, responsive communicator

Compensation

  • Part-time: approximately 20 hours/week, flexible schedule based on project needs
  • W-2 employment
  • Hourly pay: $20 to $25/hour (based on experience)
  • Long-term opportunity with a stable, growing builder

If you're dependable, organized, and want a flexible local role supporting a high-end custom builder, we'd love to hear from you.
