This position will primarily be in the Permian, but travel to other areas could happen.

Schedule: 14 days on/ 7 days off

Full Time: Weekly pay

Pay: Hourly-Depending on experience.

We are seeking Diesel Truck / Equipment Repair Mobile Mechanic Technicians to perform services on heavy-duty trucks, Frac equipment, and Yellow iron at customer facilities.

We are an established maintenance service company in the Odessa, Texas area.

Duties of the Diesel-Heavy Duty Truck / Equipment Mechanic may include:

  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and put together repair plans.
  • Computer diagnostic experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • DOT inspections understanding a plus but not mandatory.
  • Evaluate the performance of all drive train component work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, and steering systems.
  • Ability to install, adjust, or align brakes, wheels and wheel components such as bearings and air brake and valve systems to diagnose and repair braking and valve systems
  • Knowledge of air brake and valve systems to diagnose and repair braking and valve systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle body control systems, including electronics, AC, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all units as scheduled
  • Other tasks as assigned

Types of Equipment :

Light/Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks Diesel Engines, Frac Engines, Transmissions and Fuel Systems Generators, 12/24 Volt vehicle electrical systems. Sandbox & pneumatic Trailers. Kenworth, Volvo, and International. Yellow Iron forklifts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years Diesel Mechanical Experience/Training.
  • Must have own tools
  • Technical Institute Training or equivalent work experience and training. The capability to do electrical wiring
  • Basic understanding of OSHA and Fire Protection regulations
  • Follow all Safety, Personal Protective and Equipment Policies.

All applicants must have a professional appearance, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

A successful candidate will possess and use his/her personal hand tools.
