The VP, Flex Gen Optimization is responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing FlexGen's enterprise-wide delivery and service capabilities to support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and value creation across the business. This role partners across all FlexGen functions-including product, software, hardware, project delivery, operations, commercial, and corporate teams-to ensure consistent standards, disciplined execution, and best-in-class operating models.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Establish and continuously improve FlexGen's enterprise delivery and services operating model across the Americas
  • Define, standardize, and govern company-wide delivery standards, playbooks, and best practices
  • Lead enterprise-level portfolio, program, and execution management for complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive value optimization initiatives focused on cost efficiency, execution velocity, and predictability
  • Ensure disciplined performance tracking, and executive reporting
  • Oversee resourcing strategies, role standardization, and capacity planning aligned to business demand
  • Integrate lessons learned across product, delivery, and operations to improve future performance
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and apply continuous improvement and lean methodologies
  • Partner with executive leadership as a strategic advisor on execution, operating model, and performance topics
  • Direct leadership of enterprise delivery and services teams across the Americas
  • Matrix leadership across product, commercial, operations, and corporate functions
  • Accountability for delivery performance, execution consistency, and service excellence

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise delivery, operations, program management, or services leadership
  • Proven experience scaling operating models in technology-enabled or infrastructure-driven businesses
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to improve execution and financial performance
  • Management consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Enterprise mindset and cross-functional leadership
  • Results-oriented with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational transformation
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, and data-driven approach to execution

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $236,000 - $354,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
