Job description

Medical Assistant, Senior – Outpatient Clinic (Greenville, PA)

Location: Greenville, PA 16125 (On-site)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Varied start/end times between 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; No evenings, weekends, or holidays)

New Hire Starting Base Pay: $18.79 – $21.10 per hour (Starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways as you build specialized expertise.)

Future Earning Potential: Established employees have the opportunity to earn progressive pay increases up to $28.03 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits; not a temporary job)

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Clinical Workflow & Patient Care: Room patients, take vital signs, collect medical histories, administer injections/vaccines, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and assist providers during exams and procedures.
  • Lead Mentorship & Staff Guidance: Guide daily clinic workflow, assist management with supervisory tasks, and mentor, orient, and train new and current clinical team members.
  • Epic Super User & Systems Oversight: Serve as the department Super User for EpicCare, maintaining chart preparation standards and ensuring seamless EMR documentation.
  • Clinic Operations & Quality Control: Manage supply inventory, clean and set up procedure rooms per infection control protocols, and work with managers to improve safety and operational efficiency.
  • Patient Communication & Front Desk Support: Coordinate patient flow, verify insurance, obtain medical records/lab reports, and deliver individualized patient education and instructions.
What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of patient care experience required
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Training & Certifications: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or LPN/RN/EMT equivalent) OR successful completion of a national MA certification exam (AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA).
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, strong knowledge of medical terminology, EMR navigation (EpicCare experience a major plus), and hands-on clinical skills.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, leadership and mentorship qualities, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA).
