Job Description: Automation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day automation and operational issues on the production floor, troubleshoot PLC-controlled automated machines, and assist with maintenance-related automation and controls issues. This role requires collaboration with various teams to develop innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day automation and operational issues on the production floor.
- Assist with maintenance-related automation and controls issues.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled automated machines.
- Work with the data collection group to develop automation solutions.
- Build and enhance HMI screens from scratch.
- Design and maintain AutoCAD cabinet layouts and wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Participate in occasional on-call or blackout work as required.
Essential Skills
- Experience with controls engineering and PLC troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically with Allen-Bradley and GE.
- HMI screen development and automation touch panels expertise.
- Knowledge of IBA data collection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for cabinet design and wiring diagrams.
- Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
