Job description

Eaton's Electrical Sector is seeking a Cybersecurity Champion (Product Security) to support the Boyd Thermal by Eaton integration. This role is based in Moon Township, PA-home to our state-of-the-art Product Cybersecurity Lab. Relocation assistance is available!
In this role, you will be part of a global team of cybersecurity experts dedicated to advancing Eaton's "Security by Design" philosophy across our products and solutions. You will play a critical role in coordinating, advocating for, and leading cybersecurity initiatives across multiple product groups, ensuring secure development practices are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $122,300 - $187,450 a year.

What you'll do:
• Be the Cybersecurity technical leader for driving Secure Product Development processes across various divisions.
• Work directly with the Eaton Product Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) to help define hardware/software cybersecurity requirements for Boyd Thermal by Eaton products.
• Work directly with the Product Cybersecurity COE in coordinating /planning the Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing of the existing and upcoming Eaton Cyber Physical products and solutions spanning a wide range of technologies including Microprocessors / Silicon components, FPGAs, IoT devices, systems & solutions, Cloud Infrastructure Web applications, mobile applications, thick clients, wireless devices, embedded systems, data centers, hyperscale computing, and aerospace technologies deployed in line with the various cybersecurity standards.
• Drive Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment exercises with product teams early in the design and throughout the entirety of the development lifecycle to identify applicable cybersecurity requirements, in consultation with the experts within the Product Cybersecurity COE.
• Provide hands-on guidance to the product teams as they implement complex cybersecurity features and requirements in their products by creating the Cybersecurity concepts.
• Work closely with the Product Cybersecurity COE to build, deploy, and maintain security tools and security automation frameworks to drive efficiency & effectiveness of the Cybersecurity work package delivery across various projects.
• Support the DevSecOps teams with automation of cybersecurity best practices.
• Evangelize and provide technical security training to the Technical Leaders, Cybersecurity Engineers, software developers and test engineers across the organization.
• Educate other functions in the organization on the importance of cybersecurity e.g. product / project management & sales /services.
• Work with the marketing function at division / sector / corporate level to build marketing collateral to amplify and build competitive advantage for Boyd Thermal by Eaton products around 'Secure-by-design' & Cybersecurity certification.
• Monitor evolving threat landscape, cybersecurity technologies, standards, frameworks applicable for different domains and drive continuous improvement in Eaton's cybersecurity requirements, frameworks and processes to comply / address / respond to the constantly evolving external landscape
• Participate and represent Eaton in the Cybersecurity standardization bodies and maintain Professional qualifications and credentials as a thought leader in the area of Cybersecurity of Critical Infrastructures.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Product Development
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product cybersecurity (experience can be concurrent with product development experience)

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science for an accredited institution
• Two or more professional certifications: CISSP, CSSLP, GIAC, OSCP or CEH
• Five (5) or more years of experience working with engineering materials and thermal management technologies in the AI data center industry
