An opportunity south near Hays, KS is available for a Registered Nurse seeking a position in the ER Department. Details are listed below.
Pay Range: $28-$40/hr
Registered Nurse, ED Opportunity:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Schedule: Day Shift;3, 12-hour shifts/week
  • Rotating Weekends required
Registered Nurse, ED Responsibilities:
  • Registered Nurse, ED will be working closely with an EMT or CNA each shift, and would have support from nurses from neighboring units
  • Registered Nurse, ED assesses the patient on admission in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and unit-specific standards
  • Communicates pertinent patient information and unit information to medical providers, house supervisor, and other appropriate persons while maintaining client confidentiality
  • Registered Nurse, ED administers therapeutic injections, venipuncture, or other IV therapies, performs blood pressure checks, inhalation therapy, catheterization, dressing changes, and other procedures within the scope of nursing practice and as ordered by the provider
Registered Nurse, ED Requirements:
  • RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required by start date
  • NRP Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of ER experience required
