Aviation Maintenance Technician

Aerospace Innovations – Hialeah, Fl

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (In-Shop)

Position Summary:

Aerospace Innovations is seeking a dedicated Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station team, specializing in the testing, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engine accessories. This role is ideal for an individual with an aviation background or education who is looking to build a career in component overhaul. Working alongside senior technicians, you will perform teardowns, inspections, precision assemblies, and functional bench tests in strict compliance with OEM technical data and FAA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform disassembly, cleaning, preliminary inspection, assembly and testing of aircraft engine accessories and associated components.

· Read, interpret, and execute work instructions in accordance with FAA regulations, CMMs, and company-approved technical data.

· Utilize precision measuring instruments and calibrated tools to verify component tolerances and specifications.

· Quote repair work based on inspection findings.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety and quality procedures.

· Perform final testing of components to ensure all performance standards are met.

Qualifications:

· Aviation education or training is required.

· Ability to read, understand, and follow technical data.

· Practical experience using standard mechanical hand tools, safety wiring, and precision measuring equipment.

· Must be able to understand, read, and write English at a technical level.

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a hands-on environment.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
